A private truffle hunt in San Miniato with an expert hunter and her dog, followed by a gourmet lunch at a traditional Tuscan farmhouse.
Meet your group in central Florence and hop inside your private, air-conditioned minivan for the journey west to San Miniato, a hill village in Tuscany's Arno Valley.
After roughly an hour on the road, you'll arrive in the woods and meet your truffle hunter for the tour. The walk is suitable for everyone, although trekking shoes are advised — watch the dog snuffle around the forest floor to detect the treasures hidden beneath it.
Afterward, head to the truffle hunter's house for a light two-course lunch, before relaxing on the return journey to Florence, where your tour ends at the starting point.
